Juliette Maners grew up wanting to try everything - from soccer to ballet to tinkering with tools in the garage. The arts have been ever-present in her life, growing up with her musician/composer father who raised her on his own. He influenced her love for music, fostered her curiosity for knowing how things work, and forced her to join her first musical, The Wizard of Oz, in 3rd grade (she’s very glad he did this). Years later, with an overarching passion for creation, she is eager to get her hands on any guitar, camera, paint canvas, or random material to upcycle any time she can.
The recent Rider University graduate has taken to the stage within and without her collegiate career:
At Rider MT, she captivated audiences with her intimate portrayal of Olive Ostrovsky in Rider Student Theatre Company’s The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, and reflects upon her time as a Swing/ASM in Pete(HER) Pan, under the direction of the incomparable Deidre Goodwin, as the moment she found her calling in the industry, discovering the power and pleasure of pursuing responsibility on both sides of the table.
Professionally, she has been grateful for the opportunity to explore the country through contracts since her freshman year of college, holding some of her favorite roles she’s played, including Sandy in Grease and Inga in Young Frankenstein, and finding new favorite towns such as Helena, Montana. She recently has expanded her travels internationally, currently making magic at Tokyo Disney Resort, and hopes to continue exploring the US and the rest of the world while spreading joy through performance!
Juliette loves to take part in new works and has loved learning about the writing process of projects first hand during staged reading workshops. During her collegiate career, she had the wonderful opportunity of joining Broadway playwright Sandy Rustin in both workshops of her new 80’s-inspired jukebox musical, “Always Something There…” along side a team of acclaimed members of the theatre industry.
